You’ve built the product. You’ve found your market. Customers are responding, revenue is coming in, and your startup is no longer just an idea on paper. But now comes the question every ambitious founder eventually faces: What does it take to scale?
The answer is rarely just more funding. Scaling requires the right strategy, experienced guidance, access to investors, strong networks and the confidence to take your business into its next phase. That is exactly where the NIC Karachi × Orbit Ventures Acceleration Program – Cohort 4 comes in.
Applications are now open for founders who have moved beyond the idea stage and are ready to turn traction into scalable growth. Built by the National Incubation Center Karachi in partnership with Orbit Ventures, the programme is designed for startups that have already done the hard work of building and validating their business and are now ready to accelerate.
At the heart of the programme is a simple belief: startups should not have to scale alone.
Selected startups can access a Founder Grant of up to PKR 5 million, giving founders the opportunity to invest in the areas that can unlock their next stage of growth. But funding is only one part of the journey. Through the programme, founders gain access to international mentors, trainers and startup experts who can challenge their thinking, strengthen their strategies and help them navigate the complexities of scaling a business.
The programme also connects founders to the global acceleration network of Orbit Ventures, led by one of Asia’s leading investors. With a portfolio spanning 260 companies, $75 million invested, more than $728 million raised by portfolio companies and over $125 million in total value under management, Orbit brings global investment experience and founder-first thinking to Pakistan’s startup ecosystem.
For a founder, that network can mean more than numbers. It can mean the right introduction at the right time, a conversation that changes your strategy, a mentor who has already solved the problem you are facing, or an investor who sees the potential in what you are building.
The programme is backed by the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication and Ignite – National Technology Fund, further strengthening its role within Pakistan’s growing startup ecosystem. It brings together funding, mentorship, ecosystem access and hands-on growth support to help founders build businesses that are not only ready for today, but prepared for tomorrow.
So, who is this programme built for?
It is for founders who have already taken their first big leap. Your startup should have a functional MVP and demonstrated product-market fit, along with real traction or revenue. You should have an experienced founding team, a business model with the potential to expand into emerging markets, and a clear plan for how additional funding can accelerate your growth.
Most importantly, you should have ambition beyond simply keeping the business running. You should be building to scale.
And scaling does not stop at the borders of Pakistan.
Through Orbit Demo Day, organised by NIC Karachi and NIC Peshawar in collaboration with Orbit Ventures, accelerated startups gain opportunities to showcase their businesses to investors across high-growth sectors including FinTech, AI, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, IoT, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Traveltech and Proptech.
NIC Karachi’s wider ecosystem also opens doors to investor connections through platforms such as the Pakistan Investor Summit, where curated startups connect with investors and explore opportunities for growth and investment. Founders can also become part of a broader community offering mentorship, coaching, curriculum sessions and investor-readiness masterclasses.
For startups with international ambitions, the journey can extend even further. NIC Karachi startups have already represented Pakistan at global platforms including LEAP in Riyadh, Web Summit Qatar and GITEX Global, creating opportunities to showcase Pakistani innovation on some of the world’s most prominent technology stages.
Because the next stage of your startup is not simply about growing bigger. It is about growing smarter.
You have already proven that your idea can become a business. Now it is time to prove how far that business can go.
NIC Karachi × Orbit Ventures Acceleration Cohort 4 is built for founders who are ready to make that leap — with funding to fuel the journey, global expertise to guide it and a powerful ecosystem to help open the next door.
If you have built something real, created traction and believe your startup can go further, this could be the opportunity that takes you there.
Applications are open. The deadline has been extended to 15 September 2026.
