Prior to this, she was the Chief Operating Officer at Nutshell Communications, a sister concern of Nutshell Group. She also served as Head of Strategy & Partnerships for Programs and World Culture Summit at the Arts Council of Pakistan. Previously, she has been a Partner and Lead Strategist at SEED Ventures – an investment firm and a Social Entrepreneurship & Equity Development organization, and has worked extensively with MSMEs, startups and social enterprises.
Sadaf was the Country Program Manager for Enterprise Challenge Pakistan – a Prince’s Trust Initiative. She brought Social Enterprise Academy to Pakistan with SEA International and launched the Scottish Government Fund ‘Impact Link’ for social enterprises. She was the Founder of Reimagining Karachi, a social enterprise for heritage preservation.
Sadaf is also a Writer and Editor, currently in the process of finishing the first draft of a business management book for a client and embarking upon producing another manuscript on investment and financial market.
She has appeared weekly on FM 107, and periodically on other radio and television channels to talk about entrepreneurship, culture, heritage, social and environmental issues, and women empowerment.
Sadaf is the recipient of a Fellowship, How Women Lead’s ‘Women Leaders for the World’ program, a transformational leadership program to propel disrupters and changemakers forward. She was also one of the 15 global women business leaders selected by the US State Department for IVLP – International Visitor Leadership Program in 2014.
Sadaf was appointed Board Member and Treasurer for I AM KARACHI, a city-wide social cultural movement to bring civil society together and was also on the Advisory Board of Frontier Innovators, an initiative of the Australian Government for innovative businesses in the Asia-Pacific.
She is an alumna of SEALA – Southeast Asia Leadership Academy, a sister concern of SIBF – Society of International Business Fellows, a US based think tank; and was later a facilitator at the 2015 SEALA program. She was also part of the special delegation headed by Governor Sind, to the United States for Pakistan Investment Conference 2019 by JS Global to put Pakistan on the global investors’ radar.
