The Ministry of IT & Telecom through Ignite – National Technology Fund established the National Incubation Center Program to promote and aid new businesses. National Incubation Center, Karachi is one of the 5 centers created as a part of this project has so far incubated more than 170+ startups.

Not only did these chosen few startups demonstrate ingenuity and innovativeness but the potential to grow as well. In the next year, these startups will be taking part in various programs and receiving mentorship and support aimed at enabling their growth.
Every year, NICK conducts a competitive induction process where startups from all across Pakistan and around the globe apply to be a part of the NICK community.
This year, for its 8th Cohort, NICK received 400+ applications from 8th cohort. Their focuses ranged from delivering fresh produce to building an E-learning platform and much more.
