Trainer:
Ms. Maheen Salman brings over 24 years of accomplished management experience, having begun her career with renowned multinational corporations before joining her family business, the Global Group of Companies—which includes Global Environmental Lab, Incineration, Recycling, and Waste Management. She now leads two innovative ventures: Global Innovatrix Pvt Ltd., focusing on digital transformation, carbon trading, and sustainability; and Ecowise Solutions Pvt Ltd., offering industrial automation and environmental metrics solutions. Ms. Salman has held several leadership roles, including Senior Vice President at the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), President of the Rotary Club of Karachi Cosmopolitan (2024–2025), Chairperson of the Startups and Incubation Standing Committee at KATI, and Convener of the FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Higher Education, Science & Technology. Deeply committed to academia, she voluntarily serves as Focal Person for the FPCCI & UNIDO-ITPO Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, is a Notified Member and Focal Person for the STEVTA & KATI Committee, and sits on the ORIC Boards of nine universities, in addition to chairing three vocational training center IMCs. Her contributions include founding the Dr. Sami uz Zaman Research Memorial Lab at the University of Karachi, launching the first STEVTA incubation center at the Govt. Polytechnic Institute for Women, Landhi, and authoring project management training resources for USAID programs at IoBM. She also supervises MS research at PAF KIET and is currently pursuing her PhD at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM), all in pursuit of her mission to bridge the gap between industry and academia.
